I'm honored to have earned the endorsement of Abortion Forward, formerly Pro-Choice Ohio. The right to make personal decisions about abortion and reproductive healthcare should belong to those most directly impacted—the individuals themselves. We've all witnessed the devastating consequences of extreme abortion bans across the country, and Ohio is no exception. When a 10-year-old rape victim was forced to leave Ohio to access care, it was a stark reminder of the real dangers these bans pose to life, health, and freedom.
Last November, Ohioans made their voices heard by enshrining reproductive healthcare access into our state constitution. I will stand firm in defending that amendment and ensuring that no one’s rights are rolled back.
